We have been accepted into The Devon Junior and Minor League for 2007/08.
The Girls will play in U11's OCEAN Division as one of ten teams in the league.
This team only started training in mid May and has already overcome a few early problems with one girl needing an operation and one falling from a tree and breaking a wrist.... but hopefully now things are settling down and the girls will at last get to start training as a unit. Trevor and Rose will be very happy about that.
Would moving kids' football to a summer game help improve the development of young footballers?
Yes - better pitches mean a better chance to develop technique/skills
No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
Maybe - but I'd be worried about more injuries on firm pitches
