A great season by the lads, we have shown this season that we can compete with these teams and with a little luck and better refereeing decisions at times we could have finished higher.
We have all progressed from last year and the hard work has resulted in another Cup Final, this time in the league and a mid table finish.
The lads have been a credit to work with and really buckled down at training and got their rewards on the playing fields, with no team able to do the double over us and that just shows that on our day we can beat anyone. If we can keep the squad together and perhaps bring in a couple of new players to improve and strengthen the squad I feel that we should be aiming to win the league next season.
Thank you to all the parents for your support and patience, special thanks to Steve for helping out at training and match days, Mike for helping with the nets and being linesman (I apologise if sometimes I have moaned at games but I know you are very honest and wish other club officials showed the same honesty), and thanks to Julie for all your support behind the scenes and for putting up with my moaning.
My main thanks are for you the players for making me very proud to be your Manager.
